flew the jett60lx demon for a few warm up flight s this past weekend, then test flew my Hot Spot Turbine a couple flights. Wow! What a hoot!

GPS is horribly inaccurate though for speed in our planes. It's good for straight line speed, but it doesn't take into account the up and down that a plane does while flying, or the dive.

So the f1 engine I have in the pic,(second one without a pipe,RIRE) with the 170* timing, does that mean it'll run with a straight mini pipe? Is that how they ran them in f1 racing?

The .77 VRDF, has been done and it's a beast, works great! I think it weighed in at about 4lbs, dry.
i think the spars were reallocated a bit and a third one added in also. See the SD .65 thread.

I couldn't remember if you were there that day or not. I landed it too, with only some small tares to the underside covering. That was a low pass! Thank goodness for the wood prop.
