Default Tamiya m50 sherman

Got some electrics in the old girl, she goes like a champ! Tamiya m50 Sherman. I replaced the motor connectors with deans and the battery with an xt-60. It’s a good combo and I think I will work well on my super pershing. Click image for larger version

Very nice looking Sherman. Nice hull details (small front hatch) with appliqué armor, and different type track links. Unique looking model! Need some Egyptian SU-100, Syrian PZ4 or T-34 to shoot at.

Hey Richard,

Shame I’m not in the states! Ive got an IDF M50, HVSS and m51 which would be great to battle at your event! I’ve also got the bits to do 2 Chilean m51s and the M50/60 I’d love to do

What hull and chassis did you use? Are those the shapeways small hatch hoods?
The chassis looks like a mato?
Is your gun mount a shapeways as well?
Any photos from during the build?

Hey, its a Tamiya chassis and gearboxes with mato metal bogies, sprockets, idlers and tracks.

No shape-ways bits here, everything was scratch built from styrene, brass and alloy (not by me sadly). There was a build thread but the forums gone now
