Neons are certainly visible, but they fade over time when exposed to UV. Keep it covered at the field, except when flying :-)

Hey I see you've been busy. Nice work on those kits. I think you have time for one more build before the weather really breaks.
I hope to start building a few kits in May. What's the brand of covering you are using I like the colors?

Hey Ron, about time you got here, I’m an Ultracote guy, haven’t used the other stuff since the 90’s, This is the florescent red. Willy, appreciate the advice and yes I’ve been using the neons for 40 years so I understand the fading . I prefer a little bit of fading over time, takes the bite out of it a little 🤓 That classic wing in the background was covered in 2007 I believe, there is a building thread here on rcu for it also

Looking very good. You are one prolific builder! I like your bright color schemes. Your Integra reminds me of a scratch built plane I made several of back in 1972 or so. It looked almost identical to the Integra. I had a perfect wing from a crashed plane and quickly drew up and built a replacement fuselage / tail of a different design than the original. Flew the heck out of that plane and completely wore it out. I liked it so much that I cut several foam wings and built more of the same design. I used a SIG replacement canopy placed a bit forward like your Integra. I covered those foam wings with oaktag from the art store and covered that with vinyl shelf paper. I could build a wing in one evening and the fuse / tail in a couple more. Loved those planes and seeing your Integra brought back some great memories. I'll see if I can find a photo if one still exists. The wife called the "Saturday Night Special".

Thanks truckracer, I really appreciate the comments. I would guess you can see me flying this one this year if you come out to the right field. I'll be there often, daily if possible. I usually bring 3-4 planes and this one is interesting to me so it might come every time I go.

Not sure what's next, was going to scratch build a Miss Norway but the printer in Ames is down and may be down for a long time.
I can't get a plan printed for quite awhile or so they say, I can use their big machine for 58 bucks lol hahaha no thanks.
I might wrap it up for the winter, and wait to do another couple about Sept or Oct when it gets sloppy out.

I'd love to see a pic of the "special" if you have one!

It a really nice looking design,
With the ST75 in the nose it should not have any problems performing any pattern routines

Whats really crazy is how you can achieve slightly different looks simply by moving the canopy fore or aft...

The canopy is really the looks changer, I've been noticing that since I started the plane. Once I got it painted, it was a simple decision to place it forward vs rearward.
Overall I think it is a cool plane, probably not for everybody but interesting none the less.
I'm starting with a 13-8 prop and I also have a header and pipe on standby, but most likely not needed..............
Finish weight will be about 7.25 pounds with 720 in of wing...................perfect!

I was traveling but did check in on you every now and then. Red and white planes have a tendency to look black to me in the right conditions, so I kind of stay away from that combination. I did gave that combination another try on a DB40 a few months ago being mostly blue skies in Arizona. Got the same results but not as bad during late afternoon/evening sun. In a couple of your photos that red hurts my eyes, so your florescent red should be the ticket to fix that problem. What other florescent colors do you use, I will order some if horizon have them in stock. I did a six month search for a couple of rolls of Ultracote Power Pink to use on a Miss Martha rebuild. Finally found it in Oregon. Who makes your graphics?

Ready to fly, weight ended up at 7.68 pounds just under 7.5 pounds dry..... I again had to add 3.5 ounces tail weight to get balance…… should fly great at this weight! 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓

Another great looking plane you have there. Should be a ball of fire. Looking forward to all of your flight reports. I had to add 3.5 oz of BBs in the tail of a DB40 I built last year. Just so happen to have this thing laying around. I may build it later this year as a salute to you.

Your fellow foam - electric guys at your field hopefully were able to comprehend what they just saw?
Kit built, glow engine powered,
hauling the mail for at least 10 minutes, crisp aerobatics,
a few high speed low-passes, not phased the slightest by a breeze,
finishing off by using all of the runway to roll to a stop. How many flips of the prop did it take to fire off that Tigre? Did you make that look easy too?
Tell them this is exactly how you got it from Ali Express.
