Really the only two items to make either the GP or the TF kits are the plans and the cut parts. Plans can be copied, and if no one owns the brand, then the copyright is nullified. Parts can be laser cut as a short kit. I am currently researching this and may get into putting together something. I am almost done with a short kit for a SIG Liberty Sport, all the ribs are done and building the wing to check fitment, then just need to cut the few fuselage parts out. After that then I will move on to a Top Flight GS Corsair and GS P-51. I have their 60 size I can get exact measurements from, and scale up from there. As long as I don't market them AS Top Flight or SIG, but that the parts work with their plans, then I am not breaking any copyrights. Also have access to a full Pica P-40 kit too.
